These cookies are made from whole wheat flour, but you can easily substitute it to any other flour including gluten-free. You could totally add in some nuts or\/and dried fruits, or leave them only with dark chocolate as I have. Semi-sweet chocolate chips work fine but for me is better to use high-quality dark chocolate with a cocoa solids content of 85% and above.<\/p>\n

For more flavor, I recommend adding a teaspoon of lemon zest if you have it on hand.<\/p>\n
