- 2 cups 350g. blueberries
- 3 tbsp. 30 g. maple syrup
- 2 tbsp. 15 ml. lemon juice
- 2 tbsp. 15 g cornstarch, dissolved into 2 tbsp. of water
- 100 ml. water
In a small saucepan add the blueberries, water, and maple syrup.
Bring to a low boil over medium-high heat. Reduce the heat to low and simmer, stirring frequently, for 2-3 minutes, or until the blueberries start to break down.
Pour the dissolved cornstarch to the blueberries. Add the lemon juice, stir and continue to simmer until the sauce starts to thicken.
Cool the sauce then transfer to a jar or container and keep refrigerated.
