Ingredients

  • 2 large skinless boneless chicken breasts
  • 2 cups milk or water
  • 2 tsp. liquid honey
  • 2 tsp. paprika
  • ½ tsp. nutmeg
  • 2 tbsp. olive oil
  • 3 tsp. mustard with seeds
  • 2 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 ½ tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. pepper

Instructions

  • In a large bowl mix the milk (or water) with salt and place the breast. Leave in the fridge for overnight or at least a few hours. Milk makes chicken more tender and juicy.
  • Preheat the oven to 450°F.
  • In a medium bowl, mix all spices, oil, honey, and mustard.
  • Rub the chicken breast with the spice paste and tie in a knot.
  • Line a baking sheet with foil. Place the breasts and bake uncovered for 25-30 min. until golden brown. After that, turn off the oven and leave the pastrami in until the oven is completely cool.
  • Slice the pastrami and enjoy!
