Healthy No Bake Chocolate Barks
Healthy No Bake Chocolate Barks make perfect Christmas treats, delicious snacks, or even excellent crunchy addition to your favorite breakfast bowl.
These barks became our festive holiday version, but you can make them for just about any time you desire a hearty treat. It is definitely that recipe you need to try!
- Ingredients for Healthy No Bake Chocolate Barks
- 1 ½ cup 150g good quality chocolate (I used 72% cocoa dark chocolate bar)
- 3 Tbsp. 45g butter
- 1/3 cup 80g walnuts, or your favorite nuts, roughly chopped
- 3 ½ cups 125g corn flakes
- 1 tsp. cinnamon powder optional
How to Make Healthy No Bake Chocolate Barks
Use a silicon baking square pan, or line any 9” x 9” pan with parchment paper and set aside.
In a large microwave-safe bowl add the chocolate and butter. Microwave on low in 20-second increments, stirring after each one., until smooth.
When the chocolate is melted, add the walnuts, corn flakes and cinnamon powder. Stir until well combined.
Spread the mixture evenly into the bottom of the prepared pan and press down with a spoon as hard as you can. Refrigerate about 1 hour or until firm enough to cut.
Cut into squares or barks. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 weeks. Enjoy!
