Have delicious and healthy mid-week supper with this quick and easy Baked Mackerel. This fish is perfect for your diet as it’s full of Omega-3 fish oils and tones of protein. This moist and flaky fish will be your favorite, fancy seafood dish.
- 1 whole mackerel, gutted
- 1 lemon
- ½ tsp. garlic powder
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Preheat the oven to 420°F.
Place the mackerel on a baking pan lined with parchment paper.
Season well the inside and outside with salt, pepper and garlic powder.
Stuff the cavity with a few the lemon slices. Drizzle generously with lemon juice.
Bake the fish for 20-25 min. until golden brown.
Serve immediately and enjoy!
