  • 5 salmon fillets 770g / 27oz / 1.7 lb
  • 2 tbsp. 10g olive oil
  • 2 tbsp. 15g butter
  • 1 onion diced
  • 3-4 cloves garlic diced
  • 1 cup water
  • 60 g 2oz Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 cup half and half
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp. fresh parsley chopped (I also used dried veggie mix) for garnish


  • Season the salmon filets on both sides with salt and pepper.
  • Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  • Place the salmon fillets and sear in the hot pan for about 2-3 minutes on each side. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  • Add the butter, onion, and garlic to the same skillet. Cook until the onion has softened, about 3-5 minutes.
  • Pour in half and half, water and bring to a simmer. Season with salt and pepper to your taste.
  • Reduce heat to low and add the Parmesan cheese. Cook until sauce slightly thickens and until cheese melts through the sauce.
  • Bring the salmon back into the pan and cook additional 5 min. after boiling.
  • Garnish with the parsley and enjoy!
