Broccoli with Ham and Beans
This Broccoli with Ham and Beans recipe is a perfect skillet dinner. It’s very easy to make under 30 minutes meal that is wonderfully delicious and comforting. This side dish is so filling but low-carb, full of nutrition and wholesome ingredients that get lots of fiber! And it’s also keto-friendly, gluten-free, and can be friendly for many weight loss diets

- 1 lb 455 g. broccoli florets
- 1 cup 150 g. chopped or sliced ham
- 1 can/19 oz/540ml 380 g. drained kidney beans
- 3 tbsp. 15 g. olive oil
- 1 medium 150 g. onion, chopped
- 3 cloves 10 g. garlic, minced
- salt and black pepper to taste
In a large skillet (I used my Instant Pot) heat the olive oil over medium heat.
Add the onion and cook, stirring occasionally, until softened, about 1 or 2 minutes.
Add the chopped ham and stir and cook for about 2 minutes.
Add the broccoli and garlic; season with salt and pepper. Cook, stirring occasionally until the broccoli is just softened.
Add the beans, stir and cook additional 1 or 2 minutes.
Remove from the heat and serve hot!
