Healthy Mini Canapé Toasts with Gravlax or Smoked Salmon
These Healthy Mini Canapé Toasts with Gravlax are the perfect easy appetizer for parties, brunch, and light snacking. Made with my homemade sourdough bread, a creamy Greek yogurt spread, and my simple gravlax recipe, these mini salmon toasts are fresh, protein-packed, and lower in calories.

For the Mini Toasts
- 4 slices (200g) of sourdough bread
- 1 Tbsp olive oil
For the Toppings
- 1/3 cup (80g) Greek yogurt
- 1/4 cup (55g) light cream cheese
- 1 tsp whole-grain mustard
- 1/4 tsp lemon juice
- Pinch of garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 16 slices (~200g) gravlax or smoked salmon
- 8 cherry tomatoes cut in half
- Fresh dill for garnish
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
Cut the crusts off the sourdough bread slices, then cut each slice into 4 small squares (16 mini toasts total).
Arrange the bread squares on a baking sheet and lightly brush or spray with olive oil.
Bake for 8–12 minutes, until golden brown and crispy. Let cool slightly.
In a small bowl, whisk together Greek yogurt, light cream cheese, mustard, lemon juice, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until smooth.
Spread a small amount of the yogurt mixture onto each mini toast.
