Course Breakfast, Lunch, Snack, Supper
- 2 large skinless boneless chicken breasts
- 2 cups milk or water
- 2 tsp. liquid honey
- 2 tsp. paprika
- ½ tsp. nutmeg
- 2 tbsp. olive oil
- 3 tsp. mustard with seeds
- 2 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 ½ tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. pepper
In a large bowl mix the milk (or water) with salt and place the breast. Leave in the fridge for overnight or at least a few hours. Milk makes chicken more tender and juicy.
Preheat the oven to 450°F.
In a medium bowl, mix all spices, oil, honey, and mustard.
Rub the chicken breast with the spice paste and tie in a knot.
Line a baking sheet with foil. Place the breasts and bake uncovered for 25-30 min. until golden brown. After that, turn off the oven and leave the pastrami in until the oven is completely cool.
Slice the pastrami and enjoy!
