Baked Mackerel
This simple Baked Mackerel is so quick and easy to prepare, so you’ll have dinner with a whole piece of protein and healthy polyunsaturated fat in 25 minutes! Ingredients:
- 1 whole mackerel, gutted
- 1 lemon
- ½ tsp. garlic powder
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
Directions:
- Preheat the oven to 420°F.
- Place the mackerel on a baking pan lined with parchment paper.
- Season well the inside and outside with salt, pepper and garlic powder.
- Stuff the cavity with a few the lemon slices. Drizzle generously with lemon juice.
- Bake the fish for 20-25 min. until golden brown.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
