  • 2 cups (350 g.) blueberries
  • 3 tbsp. (30 g.) maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp. (15 ml.) lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp. (15 g) cornstarch, dissolved into 2 tbsp. of water
  • 100 ml. water

How to Make Blueberry Sauce

  1. In a small saucepan add the blueberries, water, and maple syrup.
  2. Bring to a low boil over medium-high heat. Reduce the heat to low and simmer, stirring frequently, for 2-3 minutes, or until the blueberries start to break down.Blueberry Sauce – easy homemade healthy sauce
  3. Pour the dissolved cornstarch to the blueberries. Add the lemon juice, stir and continue to simmer until the sauce starts to thicken.
