Ingredients for Blueberry Sauce
- 2 cups (350 g.) blueberries
- 3 tbsp. (30 g.) maple syrup
- 2 tbsp. (15 ml.) lemon juice
- 2 tbsp. (15 g) cornstarch, dissolved into 2 tbsp. of water
- 100 ml. water
How to Make Blueberry Sauce
- In a small saucepan add the blueberries, water, and maple syrup.
- Bring to a low boil over medium-high heat. Reduce the heat to low and simmer, stirring frequently, for 2-3 minutes, or until the blueberries start to break down.
- Pour the dissolved cornstarch to the blueberries. Add the lemon juice, stir and continue to simmer until the sauce starts to thicken.
- Cool the sauce then transfer to a jar or container and keep refrigerated.
- Enjoy!
