How To Make Low-Calorie Chocolate Cake
Step 1 – Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8-inch round or square baking pan with parchment paper.

In a mixing cup, combine hot milk, unsweetened cocoa powder, and erythritol or stevia. Whisk until smooth. Set aside.

- 1 cup (140g) whole wheat white flour or all-purpose flour
- 1¼ tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp baking soda
- ¼ tsp salt
For the Frosting:
- ¼ cup (60g) light cream cheese
- ⅓ cup (180g) plain Greek yogurt
- 4 Tbsp (20g) erythritol or stevia
- 3 Tbsp (15g) unsweetened cocoa powder
- ¼ cup (40g) dark chocolate, melted
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease or line an 8-inch round or square baking pan.
- Make the chocolate milk mixture: In a mixing cup, combine hot milk, cocoa powder, and erythritol or stevia. Whisk until smooth. Set aside.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, oil, Greek yogurt, and vanilla extract until well combined.
- Add the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt to the wet mixture. Mix until just combined.
- Pour in half of the chocolate milk mixture (save the other half for soaking). Stir until the batter is smooth and well mixed.
