Ingredients for Grilled Asparagus
- 1 lb. asparagus, (~400 g trimmed)
- 1 Tbsp. olive oil
- ½ – 1 tsp. garlic powder or 2 garlic cloves (minced)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- For garnish:
- 2 Tbsp. (20 g) Feta cheese, crumbled
- 2 Tbsp. (12 g) toasted almond flakes
How to Make Grilled Asparagus
- Preheat an indoor or outdoor grill to high heat, (about 400°F).
- Trim the tough ends of the asparagus by snapping or cutting the ends off.
- Drizzle the asparagus with 1 Tbsp of the olive oil and sprinkle with garlic, salt, and pepper. Toss until evenly coated.
- Place the asparagus on the grill and cook for 3 to 4 minutes on each side until grill marks appear and just fork tender.
- Remove from grill, garnish with crumbled feta and almond flakes and enjoy!
