Air Fryer Chicken Drumsticks recipe is super easy to make and requires no prep time! You just need to add simple marinade ingredients to the chicken drumsticks, mix, and then pop them in your air fryer! There is no marinating required! But if you have some time before dinner, you can marinate the chicken drumsticks for 30 minutes at room temperature or refrigerate them for up to 24 hours if you want to make the chicken in ahead of time.

The mix of ketchup, lemon juice, some olive oil, and a simple seasoning blend really makes the chicken flavorful. Ketchup provides tender and flavorful poultry meat and slightly sweet chicken skin. I used my Healthy Homemade Ketchup in this recipe for the extra flavor.

If you like spicy foods, you can add some amount of sriracha or hot sauce to your taste.

Ingredients for Air Fryer Chicken Drumsticks

  • 10 chicken drumsticks (~2 lb)
  • 1 Tbsp olive oil
  • 1-2 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 2 Tbsp. (or 30g) ketchup (I used healthy homemade ketchup)
  • 1 tsp. ground coriander seeds
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 tsp. cajun seasoning
  • 1 tsp. BBQ spices or smoked paprika

How to Make Air Fryer Chicken Drumsticks

  2. Optional: Marinate the chicken drumsticks for 20-30 minutes at room temperature or cover the bowl with plastic wrap and marinate in the fridge for up to 24 hours.
